KTC Mustard Oil Edible, Mustard Oil Blend

Mustard oil gives a pungent, authentic Bengali/North Indian kick — best for high-heat cooking and tadka.

⚠️ Note: Non-edible mustard oils are for hair/skin only — do not use in cooking.

Bengali-Style Fish Curry (Shorshe Maach)

Marinate fish in turmeric and salt. Fry lightly in KTC Mustard Oil, then make gravy with onions, ginger-garlic, green chillies, and mustard paste. Finish with more KTC Mustard Oil for aroma.

Aloo Posto (Potatoes in Poppy Seed Paste)

Heat KTC Mustard Oil, add panch phoron (Bengali five-spice), potatoes, and salt. For the posto variation, mix poppy seeds into a paste and add at the end.

Sarson Ka Saag with Makki ki Roti

Cook mustard greens + spinach with onions in KTC Mustard Oil. Temper with more oil, garlic, and red chilli. Pair with cornmeal roti fried in the same oil.

Mustard Oil Chicken or Vegetable Stir-Fry

Use KTC Edible Mustard Oil Blend for tadka with cumin, mustard seeds, onions, and your choice of chicken/veggies + basic spices.
